Since she was young, Anastasia is interested in all aspects of and all kinds of making – clothes, furniture, carpentry, architecture, shoes, cooking, gardening, costumes, hair and make up.

Endlessly helpful and curious, for her now grown children, extended family and friends back in Russia, Ana is the one that everyone asked about their making needs.

Graduation dresses, saunas, kitchen and living room redos, halloween make-up, upcycling clothes and furniture, reupholstering campers, theatre sets, dentistry, car maintenance, opera singing, jiu jitsu, accounting costumes and more.

After so much experimentation, Ana has acquired tactile expertise for combining materials in striking and practical ways.

Ana is trained as a seamstress, is a fine draughtsman, and can run 100 metres in under 10 seconds.
